A purpose-built parkour area will open in Leicester this weekend.It has been developed as part of the expansion of Bede Park in the West End.
The free-running area is being installed on a plot of land behind the Tesco Store in Western Boulevard as part of a £240,000 project.
It, and an accompanying outdoor gym, will open to the public on Saturday.
Members of JUMP Parkour – a Midlands-based parkour and free running coaching organisation – will be giving demonstrations on Bede Park's new free-running area and offering tips and advice from 2pm to 6pm.
